When we inject botulinum toxin into your muscles, it prevents the muscles from contracting. When the muscle can’t contract, it can’t create static lines and wrinkles. With repeat treatments, the muscle begins to atrophy and the static lines become less apparent.

Sculptra is an injectable treatment that is FDA-approved to restore volume loss and smooth fine lines and wrinkles in the cheeks. How does this magic happen, you may ask? Well, for starters the main ingredient is a synthetic form of poly-L-lactic acid, a substance that your body naturally produces. When is injected, it stimulates a dramatic increase in collagen production. With this boost in collagen production, your body naturally restores lost volume to achieve a firmer, more youthfully plump and radiant appearance.

SkinPen® microneedling works by creating thousands of controlled micropunctures in the skin. The goal is to activate the body’s natural healing processes to stimulate collagen.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is an injection treatment whereby a person's own blood plasma is used. We begin by drawing a small amount of your own blood, spin it in our onsite centrifuge to separate its components and then re-inject the plasma to your area of concern.

When PRP is injected into the damaged area, it causes a mild inflammation that triggers the healing cascade. As platelets organize in the treatment area, they release a number of enzymes to promote healing and tissue responses including attracting stem cells and growth factors to repair the damaged area. As a result, new collagen begins to develop. As the collagen matures, it begins to shrink causing the tightening and strengthening of the damaged area.

Generally, 2-3 treatments are recommended to restore the under eye, however more may be necessary for some individuals. Touch up treatments may be done once a year after the initial group of treatments to boost and maintain the results.
